The early involvement of Ecology by Design is hugely beneficial, allowing us to anticipate any requirements for surveys or licensing, avoid delays, and make recommendations for the scheme design. This ensures that there are minimal impacts to timelines and budgets.

We support developers from the start of proposed projects including preliminary site appraisals, BNG recommendations, planning submissions, SANGS design, appeals process, Expert Witness, section 106 agreements, discharging conditions and ECoW work.

Proactive engagement with our clients and close relationships with LPAs means that we have an excellent understanding of where the challenges may lay, and how to achieve the optimal outcomes for all stakeholders.
